Kirsten is a Master’s-level Registered Social Worker and Clinical Counsellor who works with adults who may feel overwhelmed, are struggling to manage their emotions, experience trauma-related symptoms, or are stuck in patterns that are difficult to change.
She supports individuals navigating anxiety, complex trauma, depression, emotional dysregulation, grief, chronic stress and burnout, nervous system dysregulation, chronic pain, relationship challenges, PTSD, and focus issues.
Kirsten brings over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with mental health and addiction concerns. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, she takes a whole-person approach, considering how each individual’s current environment, life circumstances, past experiences, and relationships affect them today.
Kirsten uses a range of therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She is EMDR Certified and has completed Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS).
If this approach feels like a good fit, individuals are welcome to reach out to schedule an initial session.
